Went to Starters(Yarm) and had a great meal, lively atmosphere and went with friends so we all got stuck into a mix-up of delights. My friends enjoyed the night and we will be back again. I hear another has opened in Middlesbrough so we may get a chance to visit (designated driver…?) Keep up the good work Yarm. Still looking for that total unique review on Newcastle Starters & Puds…

would like to comment on your Starters ‘comments’:

first, how you manage to get in an advert for your mates place in Newcastle before you even give the place a chance (free meals on the go?)! secondly, you should go to that same named place and give it a go now, some friends went this week (who are also very influential as yourself & due to your ‘advert’ in this write-up decided to try it) and marked it as one of the worste meals yet. Maybe you could confirm this for us or maybe they hit a bad day (as you may have?)No matter how good a place is, human error is always a problem. You should mark your experience as AA Gill does, chuck in some fancy words, allowance for star ratings (you would need to define this rating aspect), humour etc.Don’t be so angry.

Keep up the good work but try not to be to one-sided next time…

As a newcomer to the web I would like to leave a comment on your site. I have lived in Yarm all my life and have seen the High Street go down hill in the past decade. Bring back the local stores and local produce!

I always find that if I phone each insurance company and get an initial quote and get them to email or fax the quote then I can show the quote to other companies and get them to each try to beat the others quote. Insurance companies love to beat each others quotes. This always gets me and my family the lowest quote and much lower then the initial quotes. Try it the next time you phone around for quotes and have all the faxes or emails ready at hand.
